The Lion of Bulgaria proudly shared on social media Friday that he has gained American citizenship. Rusev emigrated from his native Bulgaria to the United States more than 14 years ago.
And to think, this stunning accomplishment just happens to fall on Rusev Day!
It's the latest in a line of recent triumphs for The Super Athlete, who has earned two impressive victories since a surprising return earlier this month. The newly minted American appears to be in the best shape we've ever seen him, which figures to continue to spell doom for opponents.
