On Thursday night, NXT would have their latest TV taping. This saw shows get recorded to take fans through the build to NXT TakeOver: Toronto, which takes place on Saturday, November 19. More matches from the Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic got filmed as well, including Aries’. His mystery partner would arrive before the bout and get revealed to be Strong.

Strong could be forming a tag team with Aries from here on. They would add depth to the division, which already has TM-61, Authors of Pain, Johnny Gargano and Tommaso Ciampa, and The Revival. It’s a healthy group that could always use the extra team.
The alternative could be having Aries and Strong feud. It seemed that the former would be going head to head with Hideo Itami at some point. However, he’s out for an indefinite period and no longer in the Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic. So, Aries and Strong could fill a spot on the NXT TakeOver: Toronto card.
Mr. ROH had formerly been in a tag team with Aries in the last decade in ROH. They were ROH World Tag Team Champions in 2005, a reign that lasted 275 days.
Strong had spent the past 13 years working mostly for ROH, Pro Wrestling Guerrilla, and a stint with TNA. Although, this happened in 2005.
Are you happy to see Roderick Strong in WWE? Can he succeed in NXT?
