One man tried The Rock's insane diet for a month and lived
The Rock might just be the hardest-working man in show business, and to maintain his mountainous physique he eats a preposterous amount of food every day. As of 2015, The Rock was eating more than 10 pounds of food every day, and approximately 15.75 pounds of cod each week.
This worked for The Rock because he trains like a maniac, but one average guy trying to get into better shape gave the insane diet a month-long test run and only gained a single pound.
Mark Webster blogged about his experiment extensively on RockingFor30Days.com, and told FiveThirtyEight that he spent $42 dollars a day on food to match The Rock's intake, and worked out around two hours per day on average to burn off the calories.
Uh oh. This kinda only works if you train 2xs a day, work 14hrs on set and are half Samoan/half Black. And cuss. ?? https://t.co/eZ1kySsoub

At the end of his challenge, Webster went from 206 pounds to 207 pounds and added muscle, but revealed that arguably the toughest part of emulating The Rock isn't the exercise, but simply spending so much time preparing and eating food.
