It's the perfect time for WWE to ditch the Monday Night Raw theme song
The time has come for WWE to finally introduce a new theme song for Monday Night Raw. [Update]: It happened.
Thank you to @Shinedown for the new @WWE #RAW theme song "Enemies!" @USA_Network #NewEra https://t.co/tt6lzvcvsl

Stephanie McMahon and Mick Foley will lead the first Raw of the WWE's "New Era," and WWE has already unveiled new logos for both Raw and SmackDown Live.

There are also photos floating around Twitter of a new Raw stage that will be unveiled tonight - but the biggest change WWE needs to make is replacing The Night, the current mix of the song that's been used as the theme of WWE's flagship show since 2012.
Here are the actual lyrics:
I'm not sure how many people have changed the channel immediately after that theme hit their speakers, but I'm sure it's a nonzero number. The Night is the perfect musical representation of the PG-Era. What came before - Nickelback's Burn It To The Ground - wasn't much better.
From 2006 to 2009, Raw used Papa Roach's To Be Loved.
Across The Nation was the theme for four years from 2002-2006.
The Attitude Era themes, Slam Jam's Thorn In You Eye and All Together Now, remain the gold standard.
Jim Johnston produced the original Raw theme that was first used in 1993, and it sounds absolutely ancient now.
