Is Dolph Ziggler Leaving WWE at No Mercy 2016? (Photo)
Could this be the end of Dolph Ziggler’s time in WWE at No Mercy?
At WWE No Mercy, Dolph Ziggler is challenging for The Miz’s Intercontinental Championship. However, Ziggler also chose to put his WWE career on the line in this match.
For the past few months, The Showoff has floundered. He hasn’t been able to win the big matches, including at SummerSlam and Backlash for titles, and multiple other opportunities. This arguably extends into 2015, where he took part in the infamous Rusev-Lana-Summer Rae love story.
In WWE, though, these “retirement” angles have led to nothing before. It could mean the respective Superstar is absent for a week or two and returns with a new gimmick. There could also be a loophole, like when John Cena was the only one able to bring back The Authority in December 2014.
So, could this be the end for Ziggler at No Mercy? While there isn’t a rumor floating around, there is something to note from the TV info for the October 11 episode of SmackDown from Xfinity. This does not confirm Sunday night’s outcome.

Well, that’s one way to spoil the finish of this No Mercy match.
If this is the end of Dolph Ziggler in WWE, it would mark the conclusion of his 12 years with the company. He made his main roster debut in 2005 as Chavo “Kerwin White” Guerrero’s caddy. 2006 would see Ziggler take on another gimmick as a cheerleader. This was with the Spirit Squad faction of five wrestlers from OVW, WWE’s former developmental territory. They would disband after about one year on WWE TV.
Ziggler returned to the main roster in 2008 as the Dolph Ziggler character fans know of today. This saw him get two World Heavyweight Championship runs and four Intercontinental Title reigns.
So, will this definitely be the end of Dolph Ziggler in WWE?
