Walker-Kimbrough leads No. 6 Maryland past Wisconsin, 83-77

COLLEGE PARK, Md. (AP) Shatori Walker-Kimbrough scored 16 of her 27 points in the first half as sixth-ranked Maryland extended its winning streak to five games with an 83-77 victory over Wisconsin on Thursday night.

Brionna Jones added 20 points and eight rebounds for the Terrapins (26-3, 15-2 Big Ten), who went 11 of 20 (55 percent) from 3-point range.

Nicole Bauman had 23 points, while Michala Johnson scored 18 for Wisconsin. The Badgers (7-20, 3-14) have lost 12 of 13, including a 90-65 setback to the Terrapins on Jan. 20.

In this matchup, the Badgers played much better, but ultimately could not keep up with Maryland's high-powered offense. The Terrapins kept feeding the ball to Jones inside the paint and she responded with 10 points over a four-minute stretch in the third quarter.
