Paige Mintun and Vicky Deely scored 14 points each to help UC Davis cruise to a 72-45 victory over UC Irvine on Tuesday night in the first round of the Big West tournament.
With the win, the No. 4 seed Aggies (22-8) advanced to the semifinals in Anaheim, Calif., where they will play No. 3 seed UC Riverside (19-11) on Friday.
The Anteaters (15-15) pulled ahead briefly early in the first half, but the Aggies went on a 12-0 run to take the lead for good.
UC Davis led by as many as 28 points late in the game, outscoring the Anteaters 34-19 in the second half.

Tayler Champion grabbed a double-double to lead UC Irvine with 13 points and 10 rebounds.
Heidi Heintz added 10 points for the Aggies while Lauren Juric pulled down a game-high 11 rebounds.
