Texas A&M suspends Courtney Williams and Shlonte Allen

COLLEGE STATION, Texas (AP) Texas A&M suspended Courtney Williams and Shlonte Allen indefinitely for violating team the school announced Saturday.

The suspension came out just before the fourth-seeded Aggies faced Missouri State in the opening round of the women's NCAA Tournament.

Williams is the team's second leading scorer averaging 12.5 points and 4.8 rebounds. The senior guard started 25 games this season. Allen played in 19 games, averaging 2.2 points.

The pair can still practice with the team while suspended.
