No. 12 Louisville women beat Ball State 69-56

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (AP) Mariya Moore had 22 points with 6-of-9 shooting from 3-point range to lead No. 12 Louisville past Ball State 69-56 on Sunday.

Moore, who also had five rebounds and five assists, sparked an 11-2 run with five straight points early in the second half that put Louisville (4-0) up 51-40. Her 22 points tied the career high she set in her collegiate debut against IUPUI on Nov. 14.

Louisville led 38-27 at halftime and closed the game out with a 15-6 run. Myisha Hines-Allen added 14 points and Jude Schimmel had six assists and five steals.

Ball State (1-2) was 18 of 32 from the field but had 34 turnovers and only two offensive rebounds.

Jill Morrison was 3 of 7 from 3-point range and finished with 20 points. Nathalie Fontaine added 11 points and nine rebounds, but also committed 12 turnovers.
