Zellous scores 22 points to lead Fever past Liberty, 81-76

INDIANAPOLIS (AP) Shavonte Zellous scored 11 of her season-high 22 points in the final five minutes on Sunday to help the Indiana Fever beat the New York Liberty 81-76 in the regular-season finale for both teams.
By the time this game had reached the half, Indiana had already secured the third seed in the Eastern Conference when Washington lost to Atlanta. The Fever will open up the postseason in Chicago on Thursday night.
New York (23-11) will host Washington on Friday in its playoff opener.
Natalie Achonwa and Briann January added 13 points apiece for the Fever (20-14).

Erica Wheeler scored a career-high 15 for the Liberty.
