White releases 2014 UFC schedule

The UFC has released plans for an onslaught of shows in 2014 including 13 pay-per-views and a slate of shows split between FOX, FOX Sports 1 and FOX Sports 2.
UFC president Dana White announced the new schedule during FOX Sports Live on Wednesday night with a few details about upcoming shows in January and February as well.
The 2014 schedule breaks down like this:
• 13 Pay-Per View events
• 4 UFC On FOX fights
• 14 live events on FOX Sports 1 (including two
TUF Finales)
• 4 live events on FOX Sports 2
In addition to this schedule, the prelims for all of the pay-per-view shows will also air on Fox Sports 1 in 2014.
The first major show announced for next year will be the next UFC On FOX event scheduled for January 25 at the United Center in Chicago, Illinois. This will be the third year in a row that the promotion has landed in Chicago for a UFC On FOX event. In 2012, UFC On FOX: Evans vs. Davis headlined the card in Chicago and in 2013 UFC On FOX: Johnson vs. Dodson showcased a flyweight title fight on the network.
