A rematch in the making since 2009, UFC middleweight champion Michael Bisping will put his title on the line against former foe Dan Henderson on Saturday, October 8 in the main event of UFC 204 at the Manchester Arena in Manchester, England.
Henderson (32-14) defeated Bisping (29-7) in their initial bout UFC 100 in July 2009, where fans saw the American legend walk away one of the most iconic knockouts in UFC history. The punch–and the flying follow-up blow–earned him numerous Knockout of the Year awards and is forever etched in the minds of those who saw it.
In the night’s co-main event Vitor Belfort will challenge Gegard Mousasi.
Mousasi (39-6-2), a former Strikeforce, Cage Warriors and Dream champion, will look to pick up his third straight victory and fifth in his last six contests. Belfort (25-12), also a former UFC light heavyweight champion, will be looking to get back into the win column after suffering a first round TKO to Ronaldo ‘Jacare’ Souza at UFC 198.
