Roy Nelson vs. Alistair Overeem joins UFC 185 lineup

A heavyweight matchup between Roy Nelson and Alistair Overeem has been added to the UFC 185 card on March 14 in Dallas, Texas, UFC officials announced Tuesday evening.
Nelson returns to action looking to rebound from the first knockout loss he's suffered in the UFC when he fell to former heavyweight title contender Mark Hunt in September. The loss dropped Nelson to 1-3 in his past four fights inside the Octagon. Just months earlier, Nelson was riding high after knocking out former UFC heavyweight champion Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira.
Meanwhile, Overeem will look to pick up back-to-back victories for the first time in his UFC career. The former Strikeforce heavyweight champion has had his ups and downs since joining the UFC in 2011, but with a win over Stefan Struve in December, he hopes to start climbing back up the ranks.
The UFC 185 fight card is headlined by lightweight champion Anthony Pettis making his second title defense as he takes on Brazilian challenger Rafael dos Anjos.
