Retired UFC fighter Cathal Pendred lands a part in 'Ray Donovan'
It was less than a year ago when former "Ultimate Fighter" competitor and UFC welterweight Cathal Pendred called it a career as he retired from the sport after 22 professional fights.
Now the 28-year old from Ireland is moving into a second career as an actor after landing a part on the popular Showtime series "Ray Donovan".
Pendred revealed the news on Twitter this week.

"Ray Donovan" follows the exploits of a famous Los Angeles "fixer' played by Live Schreiber, who handles all sorts of problems for his rich and famous clientele including bribes, threats and coercion to make sure the people paying for his services never get into trouble.
The series has run for three seasons on Showtime with season four set to debut in June.
Pendred talked about pursuing acting roles after he first announced his retirement last November and it looks like he's jumping in with both feet after landing a part on "Ray Donovan".
