Published Jul. 8, 2015 1:03 p.m. ET

An argument between UFC Octagon Girl Brittney Palmer and husband Aaron Zalewski reportedly turned violent last month in an incident in which Zalewski is accused of attacking Palmer in their Los Angeles home on June 11, according to a report from TMZ Sports.

The site claims Zalewski, 34, was arrested on charges of "attempted murder, spousal battery, and criminal threats" around 1:25 a.m. on June 12.

The report obtained by TMZ Sports states that things got violent when Zalewki allegedly overheard a casting director call Palmer "babe" during a phone call. The couple reportedly began wrestling for her phone and Zalewki allegedly threw Palmer head-first into a bedpost after noticing she was recording the conversation.

Palmer told police Zalewski told her to "Pack your f**king bags and go!" but would not allow her to leave. Zalewski allegedly choked and pinned Palmer face down on a mattress with his knee in her back until she couldn't breathe.

The report claims that when Palmer finally got free, she called the police, who arrested Zalewski upon arrival.

Zalewski was released on $1 million bail the next day. He is expected to appear before the judge later today in Los Angeles Municipal Court.
