Dan Henderson: I want to fight Michael Bisping & finish my career with the UFC belt

Dan Henderson thought he may have fought his last fight earlier this month, when he came from behind to beat Hector Lombard at UFC 199. Now, he's gunning for a rematch against new middleweight champ Michael Bisping.

Henderson already owns a win over Bisping in the form of one of the nastiest knockouts in MMA history, of course, but that was all the way back in 2009. In all the years since, it was likely Bisping who wanted a rematch, not the former two-division world champ Henderson.

Now that Bisping is the middleweight king, however, he's got something Henderson wouldn't mind having. "Before, I think he wanted a rematch, but he didn't have anything to offer," Henderson recently told Champions.co.

"It's not like I was going to go in there and knock him out better than I did the first time."

Though Henderson has lost more than he's won in recent years, sustained a lot of damage and has long been the oldest fighter on the UFC's roster, one more title fight would keep him in the game for at least one more training camp. Henderson is clear -- he wants the Bisping fight and if he beats "The Count," he'd call it a career.

"Obviously if Michael Bisping is an option I will definitely take that," he continued.

"The opportunity to finish my career with the belt is something I didn't think would happen."
