BJJ legend says Ashton Kutcher could beat Conor McGregor in grappling match

If Conor McGregor is looking for the next big mega-fight, he may have found it in longtime actor and former Punk'd host Ashton Kutcher.

No, Kutcher didn't come out and challenge McGregor, but if you ask his coach, famed Brazilian jiu-jitsu practitioner Rigan Machado, the Irishman, a brown belt, wouldn't stand a chance against Kutcher, a purple belt, in a grappling match.

"I put all my money (on) Ashton Kutcher," Machado told TMZ. "I think he could do really, really good. He's 200 pounds, 6-2, 6-3, he's the best."

And Machado knows a thing or two about BJJ. He is an 8th degree red and black belt under Gracie Barra founder Carlos Gracie Jr. and has trained the likes of Chuck Norris, Dan Inosanto and John Will during his 44 years practicing the discipline.

Despite those names having walked through the doors of his academy, Machada holds Kutcher in very high regard.

"Ashton Kutcher, for me, is my No. 1 student," Machado said. "He's a purple belt but he has a really good background in wrestling. I think he has a chance to be one of the top guys in jiu-jitsu."
