Top-ranked Caroline Wozniacki has agreed to play for a local Czech tennis league club if it reaches Saturday's finals.

The star-studded Agrofert Prostejov team from eastern Czech Republic includes sixth-ranked Tomas Berdych, Andrey Golubev of Kazakhstan and Petra Kvitova, who beat Wozniacki at Wimbledon.

In 1997, Martina Hingis was No. 1 when she helped Prostejov win the domestic title.

Wozniacki, a 20-year-old Dane who won six WTA titles this year, is getting ready for next season in Prostejov and said Thursday her goal was to stay at No. 1.
