WATCH: Serena Williams wags finger at Wimbledon crowd, says, 'Don't try me'

Serena Williams delivered a strong message to the Wimbledon crowd during her third-round match at the tournament Friday.
During the third set of her comeback win over hometown player Heather Watson, Williams was down 5-4 and leading 15-30 as she tried to get a break to get back on serve. There was a long rally that Serena won, but she was thrown off when the crowd cheered after she hit a volley that barely caught the baseline. Williams gave up after the crowd cheered because she thought that meant her volley was out, but she was lucky that Watson hit one into the net to give Serena the point (the crowd was incorrect as Williams’ ball was ruled in).
After winning the point that made it 15-40 and gave Williams two break points, she said something to the chair umpire about trying to have the fans keep it down during the points. The crowd booed Williams for complaining, so she responded with the type of sass we’ve seen so many times from her by doing a finger wag and warning the fans by saying, “Don’t try me.”
Williams got the break and won the next two games to win 6-2, 4-6, 7-5. It was an excellent comeback for Williams, who was down 3-0 and 4-1 in the third set. She advances to face sister Venus in the fourth round.
If she really wants to tick off the Wimbledon crowd, maybe she should Crip walk after her next match.
