Yossi Benayoun has joined Arsenal on a season-long loan from London rival Chelsea on transfer deadline-day.
The Israel international wrote on Twitter: ''I sign with arsenal, very happy and excited about it.''
Chelsea said the 31-year-old Benayoun's move would only be until the end of the season.
He missed six months of his debut season at Chelsea last year after rupturing his Achilles' on international duty.
He joined on a transfer deadline-day when left back Andre Santos also signed with Arsenal from Turkish champion Fenerbahce and center back Per Mertesacker arrived from Werder Bremen.
Arsenal is also chasing Everton midfielder Mikel Arteta
