World Cup champion Spain will play Chile in an international friendly in Geneva on Sept. 2.
Spain will use the international date as further preparation for the resumption of European Championship qualifying four days later when it plays Liechtenstein in Logrono, Spain. Spain has won its first five games to lead Group I by six points over the Czech Republic.
Spain beat Chile in South Africa last year en route to its first World Cup triumph.
