Wilson has found it difficult to break into the Stoke side since joining from Portsmouth in the summer but the midfielder completed his first full 90 minutes for the club in last week's defeat at Manchester United and then kept his place for the FA Cup game against Cardiff. It remains to be seen whether he can force his way into the team for good but the 23-year-old believes he is better equipped now than at the start of the season. He told the Stoke Sentinel: "The manager has done a great job in getting all the players playing together, and he likes the team really solid first and foremost. "It has taken a bit of adjusting to for me, but I think I'm getting used to it now."Every player obviously wants to be in the team every week if he can and "I hadn't played a full 90 minutes before the game at Old Trafford, so after 80 minutes I was feeling it a little bit. But it was great to be out there. hopefully I can do that, but to be fair to Rory and Dean have been doing really well."
