Arsene Wenger has insisted once again that Arsenal do not want to part company with star midfielder Cesc Fabregas this summer.

The Spain international has again been heavily linked with a return to Spanish giants Barcelona during the close season.

The transfer merry-go-round involving the 23-year-old has been in full swing with the Liga champions doing little to hide their desire to bring the playmaker back to Camp Nou.

After seven seasons with Arsenal Fabregas, who is tied to the Gunners until 2013, is now reportedly keen to seal a move to Spanish champions.

However, Wenger, when quizzed about Fabregas' future, insists he does not need to speak about his star player and that Arsenal are not looking to do a deal with Barca.

Fabregas is currently with the Spain squad preparing for the World Cup and is refusing to let transfer speculation distract him from helping his nation become world champions.

"I don't need to talk about Cesc," said Wenger. "He has a deal with Arsenal and we don't want to sell him.

"I've spoken with Fabregas many times - as with all the players in the World Cup - but never about his future."
