Vittek joins Turkish side Ankaragucu

Lille striker Robert Vittek has joined Turkish side Ankaragucu on loan until the end of the season.

The French club reported the move on its Web site.

The 27-year-old Slovakia striker scored five goals in 22 games in all competitions for Lille this season.

Ankaragucu's former France coach Roger Lemerre has already signed Cameroon midfielder Geremi from Newcastle and winger Jerome Rothen after an unhappy spell at Scottish side Rangers.

Ankaragucu is 13th in Turkey's top flight and has not scored in its last three games.
