Vicenza return to Serie B

The Italian Football Federation's (FIGC) Federal Court of Justice on Wednesday confirmed their decision to place the Puglian club into the Lega Pro, while exonerating Grosseto.

Vicenza lost a relegation play-off at the end of last season but have been permitted to contest the 2012-13 season in the second tier.

A statement from Serie B president Andrea Abodi in the Corriere della Sera read: "We have taken note of the decision of the Court of Justice and taken immediate action.

"We have reinstated Vicenza in Lecce's place ahead of the first day of the league programme."
