AS Roma captain Francesco Totti has extended his contract at the
Serie A club through till 2014.
Roma said Wednesday on its Web site that the 33-year-old
Totti through will retire at the completion of the new deal and
then join the club's coaching staff.
Totti is the team's leading scorer in the league this season
with nine goals despite chronic knee problems.
