Thierry Doubai joins Sochaux on loan from Udinese

Thierry Doubai has joined French club Sochaux on loan from Udinese until the end of the season.

The 23-year-old midfielder played only one league game for the Italian club this season. Sochaux said on its website on Tuesday that it has an option to buy Doubai after his loan spell ends.

Doubai, who has played once for Ivory Coast, was not selected to play in the African Cup of Nations, which starts this week.
