Thiago Silva, Van Bommel extend AC Milan contracts

AC Milan has extended the contracts of defender Thiago Silva, midfielder Mark van Bommel and third-choice goalkeeper Flavio Roma.

Thiago Silva's contract will now last through June 2016, while the deals for Van Bommel and Roma will expire in June 2012.

Thiago Silva and Van Bommel were key members of the team that secured Milan's 18th Serie A title this season.
