Stephane Mbia out for 6 weeks with foot fracture

Marseille midfielder Stephane Mbia will be out for at least six weeks after fracturing a bone in his left foot.

Mbia sustained the injury late in Sunday's French league match against Auxerre, when an opposing player fell on him.

Marseille says the 25-year-old Mbia will not ''return to competition for at least six weeks.''

Marseille has drawn its two opening league matches by the same 2-2 scoreline, surrendering the lead in both games.
