Eric Kronberg earned his third shutout in four group matches and Sporting Kansas City withstood two disallowed goals to advance to the CONCACAF Champions League quarterfinals with a scoreless draw against Honduras' CD Olimpia on Wednesday night.

Sporting (2-0-2) needed only a draw to move on to its first regional knockout competition since the 2002 CONCACAF Champions Cup. Olimpia (2-1-1) needed a win to advance.

Teal Bunbury had an apparent goal waved off in the 36th minute and Graham Zusi in the 54th, both after offside calls.

Olimpia goalkeeper Noel Valladares kept the visitors in contention with four saves. Kronberg needed only one save for his shutout.
