Nicklas Pedersen was set up by Thomas Enevoldsen for Groningen's 51st-minute opener and he then turned provider as Tim Matavz netted 18 minutes from the end. Groningen's victory moves them a point clear of PSV Eindhoven and Ajax, who are both in action on Sunday. Frantisek Kubik scored twice as ADO Den Haag won 4-2 at Willem II. The hosts were ahead after five minutes when Maceo Rigters was on target before ADO took the lead through goals from Ahmed Ammi (38) and Kubik (49). Willem II drew level again with a 52nd-minute Yevgeni Levchenko strike but goals from Kubik and Dmitri Bulykin in the final 10 minutes sealed ADO's win. In Saturday night's other match, Vitesse Arnham played out a goalless home draw with NAC Breda.
