Sky Blue FC beats Boston

Jennie Nobis' stoppage time goal prevented a shutout, but it wasn't enough for Boston as the Breakers fell to Sky Blue FC, 2-1, in Women's Professional Soccer (WPS) action Sunday night at Harvard Stadium in Cambridge, Mass.

Boston and Sky Blue FC now have identical 5-6-3 records on the year and are tied for third place with 18 points - five behind second-place Saint Louis. The match was the third of four between the two teams in the regular season, although Sky Blue FC has now clinched the season series.
