Senegal international Papa Bouba Diop has joined AEK Athens on a two-year deal.
The Greek club said the the 32-year-old player completed his move from relegated English club Portsmouth on Tuesday but did not reveal financial details.
Diop joined his new teammates on Wednesday at their training base in Austria.
He was quoted on AEK's official website as saying that he wanted a new challenge after six years in England with Fulham and Portsmouth.
AEK finished fourth in the Greek league last season, 17 points behind champion Panathinaikos, and qualified for the Europa League in the upcoming season.
