Two-time Brazilian champion Santos has signed striker Keirrison on loan from Barcelona until July 2011.
Keirrison belongs to the Spanish club but had been playing on loan contracts with Benfica in Portugal and Fiorentina in Italy since being acquired from Brazilian club Palmeiras in 2009 for nearly $20 million.
The 21-year-old player had a year left on his loan with Fiorentina, but Barcelona accepted to send him to Brazil so he could get more playing time.
Santos says it will pay for Keirrison's salaries but didn't have to pay a fee to either Fiorentina or Barcelona.

Keirrison will play in Santos' attack along with Robinho and young sensation Neymar.
Santos is ninth in the 20-team Brazilian league.
