Rovers have confirmed to Sky Sports News that the Montenegro forward, who can also play in midfield, is undergoing a medical. The 25-year-old has long been linked with a switch to England and he finally looks set to get his move to the Premier League. It is reported a fee of £2million has been agreed with Sporting for Vukcevic, who could pen a deal in the next 24 hours. Rovers boss Steve Kean confirmed to the Lancashire Telegraph he was hoping to conclude three deals. Kean said: "Things have moved on. We have had bids accepted and we are close to three players now."
