Robben on Netherlands bench against Denmark
Netherlands forward Arjen Robben is on the bench and will be available for his team's opening game against Denmark after coach Bert van Marwijk previously ruled him out.
Robben was warming up and kicking a ball with the rest of the team at Soccer City on Monday.
Meanwhile, Denmark coach Morten Olsen is starting Nicklas Bendtner as striker after saying the Arsenal forward would almost certainly miss Sunday's Group E match because of an injury.
Bendtner has struggled to get over a groin problem, but will lead the Danish attack against the Dutch. Striker Jon Dahl Tomasson, who was also deemed doubtful for the game, is on the bench.
The Dutch fielded a strong attacking lineup with Robin van Persie, Wesley Sneijder, Rafael van der Vaart and Dirk Kuyt as starters.
