Report: Zidane, Materazzi make peace

The now famous headbutt drama between French star Zinedine Zidane and Italian defender Marco Materazzi at the 2006 World Cup final has been quashed, according to Spain's Marca.
The two famous figures came together this week when Materazzi visited his former coach Jose Mourinho at the San Siro for Real Madrid's Champions League match against AC Milan.
Zidane, now an adviser with the Spanish club, was also present and the two World Cup winners finally spoke and came to terms with the events from 2006.
At the end of their meeting, the two stars embraced and smiled.
After four long, bitter years, it appears as though the feud is finally over.
Zidane was ejected from the 2006 World Cup final after headbutting Materazzi in the chest. The Italian had allegedly insulted Zidane's family, after which Zidane had stated as recently as March of this year that he would rather die than ever apologize.
