Rangers' match postponed because of frozen pitch

Scottish Premier League leader Rangers' match at Dundee United on Sunday was postponed because of snow and a frozen pitch.

Rangers had the chance to extend its lead over second-place Celtic to five points but a statement on United's website says the "match has been called off due to the severe weather conditions overnight and this morning."

A team of referees from Luxembourg had been due to run the game because of a strike by Scottish officials. The same men took charge of Celtic's 2-2 draw with Inverness on Saturday.

The match has yet to be rescheduled.
