Rangers beats St. Mirren to win League Cup

Kenny Miller fired a late winner as nine-man Rangers beat St.
Mirren 1-0 on Sunday to win the Scottish League Cup.
After Kevin Thomson and Danny Wilson had been sent off in the
second half, Miller struck in the 84th minute at Hampden Park for
its 26th triumph in Scottish football's third tier competition.
Also in the last eight of the Scottish Cup and well ahead in
the league, Rangers is now on course to win three titles.
On Saturday, Rangers' lead in the league championship was cut
to 10 points by Celtic, which beat St. Johnstone 3-0. Rangers,
which has 67 points from 28 games, now has a game in hand on its
rival.
