Juventus striker Fabio Quagliarella is likely to undergo surgery Monday after fracturing his cheekbone in a 1-0 victory at Lecce.

Quagliarella was forced off the pitch in the 23rd minute on Sunday and tests revealed the 28-year-old had fractured his right cheekbone.

Juventus says Quagliarella will ''probably undergo surgery tomorrow.''

Quagliarella spent last season on loan at Juventus from Napoli but missed the second half of the campaign with a knee injury. He signed a permanent deal with the Turin club last summer.
