The 32-year-old striker is way down the striking pecking order at Manchester City and is expected to leave the club before the end of the transfer window. It is thought the Wales international will depart on loan and a number of clubs have been chasing his signature during the summer. Bellamy, who spent last term on loan at Championship side Cardiff City, is understood to be keen on a return to former club Liverpool, although nothing has materialised on that front as yet. QPR have been busy in the market following Tony Fernandes' recent takeover but are looking to strengthen up front ahead of what will be a long campaign in the Premier League.
