Pumas wins seventh Mexican league title

UNAM Pumas won the Mexican Clausura championship on Sunday after Javier Cortes' spectacular late winning goal in a 2-1 victory over Morelia.
Cortes dribbled past three defenders before sending a powerful strike past outstretched goalkeeper Federico Vilar for the winning goal in the 77th minute of the second leg of the final.
The first leg finished 1-1.
Pumas won its seventh league title and now trail Cruz Azul by one. Chivas (11), America (10) and Toluca (9) have won the most titles.

Francisco Palencia converted a penalty in the 14th for Pumas, while Jaime Lozano equalized from a spot kick in the 25th.
