Powell patient with Fuller
Charlton boss Chris Powell has called for patience as he continues to ease in new signing Ricardo Fuller.
The former Stoke striker scored on his full debut against Ipswich last weekend on what was his first 90 minutes since the end of last season.
But with three games in seven days coming up, Powell is erring on the side of caution over the Jamaican.
"He expects a run in the team, but we can't go mad just because he played the game last week," Powell told London 24.
"He has got that under his belt and he has had a good week where we have just looked after him and he has trained well in preparation for Saturday.
"But we do have Saturday, Tuesday, Saturday and with the injuries and knocks that we have we've got to be a bit careful that we don't rush him and overextend him."
