Poland and Mexico draw 1-1 in friendly

Manchester United striker Javier Hernandez scored to earn Mexico a 1-1 draw away to Poland in a friendly on Friday.

Pawel Brozek gave the hosts the lead in the 27th minute after he was set up Adrian Mierzejewski's precise pass.

Mexico equalized before halftime when Hernandez converted Andres Guardado's corner kick in the 34th.

Mexico had plenty of chances to win the game but Poland goalkeeper Przemyslaw Tyton made a series of excellent saves.
