Former Brazil coach Carlos Alberto Parreira says the Chilean football federation has contacted him to discuss the possibility of having him as its national team coach.
Chile is seeking to replace coach Marcelo Bielsa after his resignation earlier this month.
Parreira says there hasn't been an official offer, but the federation is expected to contact him in the near future to negotiate.
The Brazilian told the GloboEsporte.com website that he is "interested" in the idea, but would need to discuss it.
Parreira led Brazil to the 1994 World Cup title in the United
States and coached hosts South Africa at this year's World Cup. His
team was eliminated in the group stage, while Chile was knocked out
by Brazil in the second round.
