Puncheon is on loan at Bloomfield Road until the end of the season from Southampton. The 24-year-old winger has impressed at Blackpool and his performances have alerted a number of other Premier League clubs. Blackpool boss Ian Holloway is keen to turn Puncheon's loan move into a permanent deal in the summer. However, Newcastle could rival Blackpool for Puncheon with Pardew hinting he could be in the running for the player's signature. "Jason was somebody I scooped from MK Dons for a really good price. He's done extremely well and he's a player I'll keep an eye on," Pardew told The Evening Chronicle. "Jason's at Blackpool at the moment, and whether there's an opportunity to come here will be determined by what he does at Blackpool."
