Palacios set to give way to Parker
Tottenham manager Harry Redknapp says midfielder Wilson Palacios has undergone a medical examination at Stoke.
The Honduras international has not played for Tottenham this season and the transfer window closes Wednesday.
While confirming Palacios' impending move, Redknapp insisted he did not want Peter Crouch to follow him to Stoke, with the striker also linked with a transfer to the Britannia Stadium.
Redknapp said: ''People say we want to sell Crouch to Stoke and it's in the papers every day ... as far as I know he is staying.''
England midfielder Scott Parker could be joining Spurs after West Ham manager Sam Allardyce confirmed that ''there are some negotiations going on.'' He said ''it will come to fruition in the next 24 hours or so.''
Palacios joined Spurs from Wigan Athletic in January 2009, one of the first purchases Redknapp made after moving to Tottenham from Portsmouth. In the two-and-a-half seasons that have followed, Palacious has made 62 Premier League appearances for the North London club, scoring once.
After being a regular fixture in Spurs' starting lineup during the 2009-10 campaign, Palacios made only 18 league appearances in 2010-11, limited by injury before losing his placing the Redknapp's first choice side.
