ATHENS, Greece (AP) Three days before traveling to Dinamo Zagreb for a Champions League game, Olympiakos had no trouble beating visiting third-place AEK 4-0 in the Greek league Saturday despite resting some of its starters.
Costas Fortounis entered the game in the 76th minute and scored twice for Olympiakos, which had several chances for an ever bigger scoreline.
Alberto Botia headed in Alejandro Dominguez's corner kick in the 28th and Brown Ideye made it 2-0 in the 70th, before Fortounis scored in the 78th and added a penalty kick in stoppage time.
Olympiakos is now six points ahead of Panathinaikos, which hosts Iraklis Sunday, and eight ahead of both AEK and Panionios, which beat Kalloni 2-0.
Also, Platanias beat Panthrakikos 4-0.
