Belgium international Timmy Simons is moving to Bundesliga club Nuremberg from PSV Eindhoven on a two-year contract.
Nuremberg gave no financial details Friday of the 33-year-old midfielder's transfer. Simons won three Dutch championships with PSV, where he has played since 2005. He previously played for Belgium's FC Bruges.
Nuremberg coach Dieter Hecking said Simons is ''a player with personality and experience.''
Nuremberg is strengthening its squad after narrowly avoiding relegation from the top division. It finished third from bottom and salvaged its topflight status in a playoff against second-division Augsburg.
