No summer holiday for Dorrans
The Scotland schemer's goals from midfield fired Albion to promotion in 2010, but his debut campaign in the top flight was blighted by injury and loss of form. And the 24-year-old, whose damaged ankle kept him out from March onwards, will sacrifice a summer on the beach to ensure he reports for pre-season in good shape. He told the club's website: "I aim to get as fit as possible and hopefully impress the gaffer from the first day of training. I want to push on and show that I can establish myself in the Premier League. "I knew I was going to have to come in and do an extra few weeks' work. It's part and parcel of what I've got to do. "My ankle is feeling good now, and fingers crossed things keep going well as I do more rehab over the summer so that I can get back in with the other lads."
